I'm looking for one of the many Season 4 Spuffy fics that deal with taking down the Initiative. In this one, after Spike escapes, he goes undercover as Giles' nephew (I think) William (tweed suits, glasses, and back to his natural hair color) and he and Buffy grow closer as they try to work out what's going on. I remember one specific scene where he's moving towards Riley and shedding his William disguise with every step until he's completely back in vamp!mode. I think he ends up killing Riley in the fic right after the commando realizes that Hostile 17 has been underneath his nose the entire time.

That's all I can really remember. Hopefully, you guys can point me in the right direction. And I hope everyone is having a fabulous holiday season! ♥

Its about after Angel dies...Buffy is so upset and somehow she hears Angel and there is a way for her to be with him. She goes to his apartment (maybe mansion) and she does everything in his bed (thats where everyone finds her) She has to drink this potion and say a spell that places her in an eternal sleep (sort of like snow white) and while she is asleep she gets to live and have a normal life with Angel. They even have a daughter??? But Willow brings her back and she is angry/depressed with everyone because of it. She eventually gets Willow to let her go back and she does.

I remember a story about Giles interviewing Buffy about Spike after the final battle at the school to write a book about Spike's life.  Giles I believe sends Wesley a copy and all the Fang Gang get to read the book with Angel refusing to at first.  Then, Wolfram and Hart make the book fall and open to the page about the attempted rape.  Angel goes ballistic but the gang side with Spike because they read the whole book as opposed to only one section.

I think I remember Fred being a big defender of spike.

Spike I think is also still  a ghost when the Scooby Gang arrive,.

I'm pretty sure this fic is post series for Buffy. All the potentials are slayers and living in headquarters all over the world and Giles is head of the watchers council. Buffy some how finds out that he is evil and tells others and they run off to the Hyperion (sp?) hotel in LA pretending to be going on a shopping trip. It's spuffy and I remember Spike being in the battle in LA and they go back in time to rescue him.

Almost all the cast is in it including clem who shows up with his pregnant girlfriend

Hi all! I'm looking for another fic! Lol! This isn't a very good description but hopefully someone will get something off of this a recognize the fic...ok here goes...

Buffy works for this company and Spike ends up being her boss. It might be a magazine or something I'm not sure and he may be the editor. If I remember correctly, Buffy is a fact checker...so anyays there is also this guy that works in the office that wants Buffy...and he finds out that Buffy and Spike are together or whatever.


That is all I remember...told you it wouldn't be very good...hahaha....hopefully someone will recognize this story and be able to tell me what it is! Thanks!

Couple of things to mention today. We haven't had a good fight discussion in a while, so...

Firstly, someone on the BSV forum brought up how confusing she found the expression "I could care less" when she originally encountered it. Because, of course, it makes no sense. My response to her was that I figured it was sarcasm and grew out of a much longer phrase "It's possible I could care less about that, but I don't see how." Apparently, based on the following explanation in Dictionary.com, I may have been on the right track even if the author of the article doesn't think so:). It is an English expression "I couldn't care less" brought to America in the 50's (hmmmm, I may have to argue that one. I can remember hearing my father use the phrase pretty early on in the 50's I think) and somehow losing it's negative. The article goes on to mention two other American expressions that mean the opposite of what they say. See what you think. Is it a legitimate twisting of the original expression reflecting our snarkier tone, or is it just a screw-up? (PS I would argue that the author of the article, in spite of having two examples of contradictory expressions that are well understood and quite common, misses the point with this one. But that's based on my own interpretation of how "I could care less" may have come about.

Which is correct: I could care less or I couldn't care less?

The expression I could not care less originally meant 'it would be impossible for me to care less than I do because I do not care at all'. It was originally a British saying and came to the US in the 1950s. It is senseless to transform it into the now-common I could care less. If you could care less, that means you care at least a little. The original is quite sarcastic and the other form is clearly nonsense. The inverted form I could care less was coined in the US and is found only here, recorded in print by 1966. The question is, something caused the negative to vanish even while the original form of the expression was still very much in vogue and available for comparison - so what was it? There are other American English expressions that have a similar sarcastic inversion of an apparent sense, such as Tell me about it!, which usually means 'Don't tell me about it, because I know all about it already'. The Yiddish I should be so lucky!, in which the real sense is often 'I have no hope of being so lucky', has a similar stress pattern with the same sarcastic inversion of meaning as does I could care less.

Moving right along, bleedtoblue brought up the expression "have one's cake and eat it too", pointing out (quite correctly) that it was originally "eat one's cake and have it too" (I'm paraphrasing - it's the verb order that's important). So, how do you say it? And do you find the two contradictory? Is one of them more possible than the other? Is the meaning clear no matter how it's ordered?

I"m looking for a story that i read on someone's LJ. It is a crossover between McCaffery's DragonRiders of Pern universe and BTVS. I believe the title is "The Golden Boy". The author describes the story as a crackfic.

Spike is the only male to ever have impressed a golden dragon (whose name is Buffieth). Cordelia also impresses a gold dragon from the same clutch. Angel is a bronze rider and Cordelia's lover. When Buffieth rises to mate, Spike has maneuvered it so that Angel's bronze covers his queen dragon.

I can't remember almost anything helpful about this fic, and it's driving me crazy. I fear I've made it up and it doesn't actually exist. Please let me know if you know of anything at all similar, seeing as my details may be wrong.

Buffy was a vampire, she meets Spike while he's trying to win back Dru, I think. She kisses him or dances with him or something, to make Dru jealous and help him get her back. They meet a few more times before they get together I think.

Hey all! Been a while since I've been on here but I really need to find this fic because it's about to drive me insane because I can't find it and I don't know if I'm not looking in the right place or if I'm not looking the right way...hahaha....alright so here is what I know...

Buffy and Spike run into each other again after the big fight in LA. It's been a good long time since they have seen each other...Buffy and Spike agree to meet the next day somewhere and so when they meet up Buffy has a daughter with her and Spike may have a son with him at the time. But I do know that he does have a son and his name is Jacob...well I think that maybe Buffy's daughter is Spike's..maybe...but there is a scene where Buffy and Jacob are put together and Jacob starts to rub towards his house and Buffy yells for him to stop running and he doesn't and then he trips and falls and about the time that Buffy gets to him Spike shows up and accuses Buffy of hurting Jacob. Oh! And Jacob is obsessed with "Spidey" (Spiderman)...so yeah...

I'm wondering if this is human or not? Is it? If it is...then I might read it...If it isn't just human...that's another story altogether...that I definitely would read.

I'm curious where else this story might be because Passionfish is on Sinister Attraction, just not this story.

If you can help and it does end up being human I would like to see it...I loved the description while searching baby fics on the wayback machine for Vampkiss but couldn't get the story...actually none of the stories.

I'm looking for a Spike/Willow/Angelus story set in the old west. Willow is Giles's daughter. he owns a hotel/saloon and brothel. Angelus Spke and Drusilla come to stay at the hotel. Spike and Angelus fall in love with Willow but she also has a friendship with Drusilla. All the BTSV characters are there. I remember Anya and Buffy are prostitutes and Xander is Willow's friend.

Does anyone no this? i tired googleing it but nothing came up
