Ask and you shall receive, I suppose. Here's another meme I snagged from slaymesoftly. #1. Your Fav Perfume: I don't really wear perfume. I have a bottle of something at home that I liked the smell of, but never remember to wear it. #2. Your Fav Colour: *looks around at purple sweater, purple raincoat, and purple umbrella* Uh, purple, I think. #3. Your Fav thing you love to buy: Clothes? Though, while I like getting new stuff, I don't actually like the shopping for it part. I like when the clothes just show up on my doorstep (yay for online shopping). #4. Your Fav male actor: I guess it's still James. It just occurred to me yesterday, though, that the day for purchasing tickets to the Valentine's Day event came and went and I didn't even notice, nor am I bothered by missing it. (I had been dithering over whether to go.) #5. Your Fav female singer: I don't know. I can never decide. I'm tempted to say Amy MacDonald, because she's the last one I listened to. #6. Your Fav Food: Italian #7. Your Fav place to visit: Probably London. Though if I went back, I probably wouldn't want to just visit, I'd want to stay. #8. Your Fav flower: I'm not picky, as long as long as it's pretty, smells nice, and won't kill my cat if she eats it. #9. Your Fav TV show: OMG Mad Men owns me. #10. A Fav Movie, one you've watched more than 10 times: The Princess Bride. There was a period in college where I think we watched it 10 times in one week.Tags: meme Current Mood: working

It...was not a great day. It wasn't truly awful, but I'm having a hard time not dwelling on the bad stuff. So to help counter that, I'm going to list stuff that's made me smile/made me feel/made me happy in the past couple days: 1. Glee. I love this show so much. What specifically this week? Jane Lynch. And Kurt's father. And Puck. I know I shouldn't like him so much but I do. I want to gouge Quinn's eyes out, but what he did for her this week...maybe it's the bad boy thing I have. 2. I finished the last part of my 4-novella series about a pair of gay lawyers in San Francisco. It's nice to feel accomplished, even if I've been a sea of self-doubt lately. 3. Turning off the TV and computers, and sitting with my kids for a couple hours tonight to play board games. 4. Oddly enough, General Hospital. Having Jonathan Jackson back has been amazing, and showing the flashback scene today? Made me want to cry. Plus, Lulu and Dante are heating up, Carly's had some great material this week, Claudia is finally gone, and they actually found another baby with red hair. Alicia saw the commercial advertising James Franco's upcoming stint and flipped out. At first she was all, "He's just really good!" But she had this goofy grin and wouldn't meet my eyes, and I finally got her to admit she was partially excited because he's so cute, lol. My daughter has good taste. ;) Tags: general hospital, glee, life, writing
